PARTICULARS OF WOUND OR INJURY: (G.S.W.) Gunshot wound to nose and left eye. Great loss of tissue comprising rt. and lt. ala, tip and septum of nose, It. lateral aspect of nose and practically the whole of the left upper eyelid. Injuries include fracture with loss of nasal process of maxilla, infra-orbital plate and ext. angular process on left side. Preliminary treatment consisted of prevention of adhesions by means of oil-silk.
